I would love to see a televised concert honoring the memory of Slovakian-born operatic and classical-crossover soprano Patricia Janeckova, who died of cancer at a tragically young age. I would like this concert to include selections from the Requiems of Mozart, Verdi, Dvorak and Faure plus Britten's WAR REQUIEM.

I bought this CD in 1986 when I went to Poland to study. I never forgot this music and it will be with be forever.

in mozart's time, i believe that music was all much quicker than we expect it today. nevertheless this is a very powerful recording, but personally i prefer the drama of bernstein's recording, although the choir is undoubtedly more powerful here which I do like.

The best part of this version of Swan Lake is that Comes played the Rothbart. First, it is a unique chirography for Rothbart compared to rest versions of Swan Lake in the world. Second, Comes made Rothbart so sexy and made the story is little bit out of rational - why Odetta refuses such sexy evil (just kidding)?😛

Великолепно!Но через чур затянуто,что не свойственно самому Моцарту,но тут ничего не поделаешь - так видит и чувствует дирижёр.Из солистов особенно впечатлил бас,но и все остальные очень хороши.Тем более обидно,что сами австрийцы,а уж тем более Венцы не смогли прочувствовать Реквием так,как смог это сделать англичанин,Дэвид Баренбойм.Вот его прочтение и воплощение на мой неискушённый взгляд,было безупречным!❤❤❤
